Winner of the Sponsor's Choice award from Art of the West magazine.

This painting was created for the Cowgirl Artists of America's first brick and mortar show held at the A.R. Mitchell Western Museum in Trinidad, CO. The rules of the show: each artist had to find a woman involved with ranching. Artists were then to follow/visit the ranch partner.  I was honored to follow horse + rider trainer,  Michelle DeCanditis. I will tell you she is one of the busiest people I have ever met and she is all about horses! This painting shows her beginning to load gear into her horse trailer.
